Catheter Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation

In this presentation, Madhurmeet Singh, DO, looks to improve the awareness of rate vs. rhythm control treatment options for management of atrial fibrillation and expand the knowledge of radiofrequency vs. cryo ablation.

Target Audience

This course is intended for primary care physicians, hospitalists, general medicine internists, family practitioners, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other allied health professionals.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify awareness of rate vs. rhythm control treatment options for management of atrial fibrillation
  • Identify awareness of the risks and benefits associated with ablation to treat atrial fibrillation
  • Explain radiofrequency vs. cryo ablation.
