On-Line Registration Store Policies

  • GENERAL - No registrations will be processed without accompanying credit card information and you should not consider yourself registered until a confirmation order number is displayed. If you experience any errors with this web registration process and wish to have a registration form sent to you via mail, please call 412-647-8232. Note: though a registration may not be completed via the web without a confirmed credit card payment, you may print out a form once you have entered the necessary information which may be faxed in to the Center for Continuing Education at the following fax number 412-647-8222. Upon successful registration over the web, a confirmation page will be displayed in your browser (which you should print to ensure order you have your order number for future reference) and an email confirmation will be sent to the email address you have provided. You will receive a confirmation by standard mail approximately 3-5 days after your registration is received. Your credit card will be billed upon successful registration/confirmation.
  • REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS - Please refer to your brochure under Cancellations and Refunds.
  • FAXING IN REGISTRATIONS - After registering via the Web, you decide you do not want to continue via the web, you can print the form and fax in the registration form. You can also fax in the form that you may have received in the mail or you may choose to print a faxable form that will be available using this registration process.
  • YOUR PRIVACY - The UPMC Health System Center for Continuing Education in Health Sciences will use your name, e-mail address, credit card number and expiration date and all other collected data to process and fulfill your web registration request and schedule you for appropriate sessions and events. Your information will not be distributed to any other organizations or used for purposes beyond those stated. Privacy Policy
  • DATA SECURITY - A secure server is used during the entire course registration process. Secure Server Software (SSL) encrypts all information that is sent to us. All customer data collected is protected against unauthorized access. UPMCHS does not store credit card information but works with leading financial organizations and processing partners that perform complete financial transaction services and credit card information storage at well-secured sites off of UPMCHS premises.
